Q. When is the best time to use a clay mask with matcha?
A. We recommend using the clay mask with matcha once per week, depending on your skin type. We recommend using the mask after your cleansing routine. After washing the mask off, spray toner or use essence, followed by facial oil.
Q. Is this okay to be used as an overnight mask? Or not recommended?
A. We do not recommend this mask as an overnight mask - there are three phases of a clay mask: First, the damp phase where your skin drinks in the beneficial minerals from the outside. Then you have the start of the dry phase, which exercises your capillaries and stimulates blood flow as the mask cools and contracts. But then there's the over drying phase, which draws out moisture from the surface of your skin, causing dehydration and irritation when you leave it on too long. We highly recommend washing off the mask within 7-10 minutes.
Q. Does the coffee scrub with matcha taste good?
A. No! Don’t try it! It’s external use only. Even it’s all natural, we do not recommend ingesting any of our matcha products.
Q. Do your products contain any nuts?
A. Our mask contains coconut, we recommend consulting your doctor first if you have a nut allergy.
Q. Is it okay to use a toner after the mask?
A. We recommend our customers use toner after the mask, before they apply facial oils for quick absorption.
Q. What order do I apply the skincare products in?
A. Start by cleansing your skin. We recommend double cleanse, first use an organic oil on a cotton pad to take off makeup. Then wash face with a natural facial cleanser. Use our clay mask with matcha once a week. Follow with a toner, which will remove any impurities remaining after cleansing, balance pH levels, and prepare your face for the next step. Follow with facial oils, and wait a minute or two before applying makeup. After the facial oil, you should use a SPF product during the day, apply before the makeup.
Q. About how many times can you use the mask before it runs out?
A. The jar contains about 3 or 4 treatments depends on how much you use each time. We suggest our customers to use about 3 teaspoons with 1 teaspoon of water for one treatment, but again it depends on how thick you prefer the mask to be.
